The inaugural issue of ‘Agri Trade Info’ a quarterly publication was released on 6^th April, 2006 by Shri Kamal Nath, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce & Industry.  This quarterly Newsletter has been published by APEDA–Tier I Partner for the Project on ‘Strategies and Preparedness for Trade & Globalisation in India’ implemented by Government of India (GOI), United Nations Conference on Trade & Development (UNCTAD) & Department of International Development (DFID), UK.

The compilation and editorial support for this publication is being provided by National Centre for Trade Information (NCTI), Tier II Partner under this Project.  The Project would address the needs of Agro and Food Sector to build up the capacity of  various stakeholders through support for implementation of identified Trade Related Capacity Building (TRCB) activities.  This quarterly newsletter is aimed at sharing the knowledge and information generated through the network and the activities under this programme.  The inaugural issue was launched during the Annual Exports Award function of APEDA.
